Spinning
Our top-notch wool is turned into yarn by layering strands, ensuring the elimination of dirt and knots.
Carding is the process of separating and preparing fibers for spinning, while spinning is the process of turning fibers into yarn.
Dyeing
The dyeing process includes wrapping yarn on a wheel-like frame, submerging it in hot dye vats for color absorption, and sun-drying.
ETEREO offers a vast palette of colors for our yarn. The full palette (color reference system) is available for our trade partners.
Weaving
Following a centuries-old Indo-Nepali tradition, our weavers spend weeks crafting intricate designs at the loom with meticulous care, using both Persian and Tibetan knots.
Persian and Tibetan knots are intricate hand-knotting techniques in rug making, with Persian knots being asymmetrical and Tibetan knots being symmetrical and quicker to tie, suitable for modern designs.
Finishing
Washers precisely apply water and a mild cleansing solution to eliminate dirt from carpets. Following this, embossing emphasizes motifs to create rich textural effects.
It makes final patterns more eminent through a high-low effect. Thereafter, the product is completed with binding/serging and final clipping.

Custom Made Rug
The world beneath your feet. If you can't find a rug that fits your needs in the market, provide us with your design, color preferences, material, and size requirements, and we can create a custom rug for you.
The process initiates with the selection of a design and size, followed by the creation of a sample. CAD-sample (digital prototype) could be made by a week for free. The "hard"-sample requires approximately 15-30 days. Upon your approval of the sample, we will proceed with the weaving of the actual rug. Production time for each rug is determined by its size and design.
